Regional public transport and funding

The first general workshop in the revision process for the regional public transport plan was held on 15th October 2015 in Magdeburg. It consisted of an explanation of the structure and content of the new planning documentation, as well as a discussion regarding the expectations of the regional public transport plan held by the transport companies and the competent authorities for public road passenger transport. Other key points of the event included the future strategic direction of regional public transport and the funding thereof, particularly in light of the revision of the Regionalisation Act.
