Funding

The eighth and final workshop in the revision process of the regional public transport plan was held on 6th December 2017 in Magdeburg and was dedicated to regional public transport funding. A range of presentations provided information on the sources of funding - both existing and those still under development - for regional public transport in Saxony-Anhalt. In addition to the current funding options, the workshop also included the presentation and discussion of a study carried out by the Mitteldeutscher Verkehrsverbund on alternative funding models.
